Fairway View residents block Prestwick care home access road as councillor quits planning panel
Residents of Fairway View have fenced off a proposed access route to Northcare’s new care home development in Prestwick and blocked access with cars. Independent councillor Willie Hogg resigned from South Ayrshire’s planning committee to support their protest, while the council says land ownership disputes are a civil matter and that Fairway View is an adopted road.
