Young people were given a closer look at careers in aviation and aerospace during a new South Ayrshire event held after the International Ayr Show – Festival of Flight.
South Ayrshire Council hosted the first evening of its Aerospace Careers Event with support from Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Ayrshire. The event brought together exhibitors who explained routes and pathways into the sector.
Exploring aviation opportunities
The organisers said the event was designed to help young people understand the opportunities available across aviation and aerospace. Attendees were able to explore potential career pathways and learn more about how to enter the industry.
Organisers also thanked the exhibitors who took part and helped attendees consider their future career options.
