The family of a 35-year-old Ayr father diagnosed with terminal cancer has raised nearly £5,000 towards private treatment as they search for further options.
John Robertson’s family launched the appeal to help him access treatment that could give him more precious time with his wife, Nicole, and their three children.

John is described as a devoted husband and father to Jorja, 15, Paris-Cole, eight, and four-year-old Clay-Ty.
The family said John’s symptoms began in February 2026, when he started having symptoms. The appeal remains focused on helping the family explore private treatment options following his terminal cancer diagnosis.
