Ayr Pavilion is set to become a meeting point for soul music fans when the Ayr Beach Northern Soul and 70s Soul All-Dayer returns on Saturday, October 17.
The event will run for eight hours, from 3pm to 11pm, with organisers promising an afternoon and evening of Northern Soul and 1970s soul classics, dancing and nostalgia.
DJs from across Scotland's soul scene
The line-up will include DJs Terry Jones, Bob Jeffries, Steph Liddle, Jim Wilson, Tom Jackson, Steve Willox, Keith Whitson, Colin Law and Ally Lyon. They will take to the decks at Ayr Pavilion during the all-day event.
Organisers say the programme will create a lively atmosphere and keep the dancefloor busy throughout the day. The event is expected to attract soul fans from across Ayrshire and beyond, giving audiences the chance to celebrate the lasting appeal of classic soul music.
Tickets for the Ayr event
Tickets are priced from £17.50 and are available through Skiddle. The event is being promoted as an opportunity to relive the era through a full day of Northern Soul and 1970s soul.
