Ayr United have launched a new supporter scheme offering season-ticket holders a 20 per cent discount on next year’s season ticket when they refer a friend who buys a ticket of equal value.
The Refer-A-Friend programme is intended to increase attendances at Somerset Park and build on what the club described as a positive start to the new season. It is aimed at encouraging more people to attend matches and supporting manager Gary Naysmith’s side.
How the Ayr United offer works
Under the scheme, an existing Ayr United season-ticket holder can refer a friend to purchase a season ticket at the same value as their own. In return, the referring supporter will receive 20 per cent off their season ticket for the following year.
The club said the initiative was designed both to attract new regular supporters and to recognise fans who help bring others to Somerset Park.
“This programme has been introduced to help grow the Somerset Park support, encourage new fans to become regulars, and say thank you to the supporters who play a part in bringing others along to back the Honest Men.”
