A man and a woman have been charged following alleged shoplifting offences on Whitletts Road in Ayr.
The pair, aged 36 and 24, were arrested and charged on Thursday, September 10. Police confirmed that both have also been charged in connection with road traffic offences.
Court appearance scheduled
Both are due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Friday, September 11. A report will also be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The allegations have not been tested in court.
