Dobbies Garden Centre in Ayr has expanded its retail offer with new sections covering hobbies, pet care and clothing, giving shoppers more options alongside its established garden-centre ranges.
The centre has introduced a dedicated hobbies section stocked with knitting supplies, jigsaws and craft activities including flower arranging and paint-by-numbers. The expansion adds several different leisure interests to the store’s existing retail mix.
New pet shop and clothing range
A new pet shop has also opened within the Ayr centre. It offers a wider selection of pet toys, bedding, accessories and food, according to Ayr Advertiser News.
Clothing has been added to the store as another new product category, with Edinburgh Woollen Mill now trading in store. The changes mean the centre’s offer extends beyond plants, gardening and outdoor products.
Marcel Oszczypala, general manager, said: We’re excited to welcome both new and returning customers to shop our expanded ranges and enjoy everything the store has to offer.
Autumn menu launched
The centre’s restaurant has launched an autumn menu featuring seasonal drinks and dishes. New choices include lighter bites, alongside specials such as steak and ale pie, Cumberland sausage ring and Moroccan-style butternut squash stew.
