A Dolly Parton-themed evening at The Place in Ayr will raise money for services supporting the local community, while offering guests a night of music, karaoke and singalong entertainment.
The Dolly Parton Shindig will take place at the venue on Newmarket Street on Wednesday, September 30, from 7pm to 8.30pm. The event is open to everyone, whether they are lifelong fans of the singer or simply looking for an evening out with friends.
Music, karaoke and crowd favourites
Organisers say the evening will celebrate Dolly Parton through her greatest hits, classic songs and crowd favourites. Guests will have opportunities to sing along, with laughter and music planned throughout the event.
Attendees will also be encouraged to channel their inner Dolly by dressing for the occasion. The event invitation suggests bringing a hat and dusting off a pair of boots.

Tickets cost £2 and are available from The Place. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided during the evening.
