A former Chinese restaurant in Ayr has been placed on the market as a potential new dining venue, offering an established hospitality premises in the town.
The property at 27-29 Sandgate was previously home to New City Chinese Restaurant, which was owned by the Pang family for 35 years. It has now been acquired by Wood Property Group from Montgreenan Property Group and is being offered to a new occupier on a leasehold basis.

The venue can accommodate between 80 and 100 covers and is described as a ready-to-trade hospitality site. Its facilities include a fully fitted bar and a flexible dining layout, alongside quality fixtures and fittings.
The property also includes a substantial commercial kitchen, dishwashing facilities, storage and ancillary accommodation. The quoted rent is £28,000 per year.
