Janet Dunbar has celebrated her 100th birthday at Atlantic View Care Home in Ayr, marking the milestone with a visit from two South Ayrshire representatives.
South Ayrshire Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick and Deputy Lieutenant Rev Fraser Aitken visited Janet to mark the occasion and offer their congratulations.
They presented her with an engraved glass paperweight during the birthday visit.
Janet’s life and career
Before retiring, Janet worked as a receptionist at Ayr Hospital.
The milestone was celebrated at Atlantic View Care Home, where Janet now lives.
