A celebration of Irish country music is coming to Ayr when The Keep It Country Show takes over The Gaiety Theatre on Tuesday, September 1.
The touring production will bring together four of Ireland’s best-known country performers for an evening built around live music, shared harmonies and comedy. The line-up features Philomena Begley, Robert Mizzell, Kathy Durkin and Shaun Loughrey.
Irish country line-up announced
Audiences will be taken through decades of country music tradition during the Ayr performance. The singers will be backed throughout the show by the Keltic Storm Band.
The production is designed as a showcase of Irish country favourites, combining individual performances with the atmosphere of a larger celebration of the genre. The Gaiety Theatre listing describes the event as a night of “hits, harmony and humour”.
