A new business club is opening up a fresh networking opportunity for young professionals across Ayrshire, with its first meeting taking place in Ayr this month.
Young Ayrshire Professionals (YAP) is aimed at people aged 17 to 35 and is being launched with support from Holmes Mackillop Solicitors. The group is intended to give early-career professionals a relaxed setting in which to meet, build business relationships and support one another’s development.
First meeting at Beastie Brews
The first YAP event will be held at Beastie Brews in Ayr at 8am on September 18. The early-morning format is designed to offer a chance to connect before the working day begins.
Organisers say the group is open to people at different stages of their professional journey. That includes those building a career, growing a business, studying towards a professional qualification or simply looking to expand their network.

Robyn Davidson, a trainee solicitor at Holmes Mackillop’s Ayr office, encouraged people to attend the launch and meet other like-minded professionals.
